Penske Logistics has promoted Jeff Jackson, EVP of operations for exclusive contract transportation, as its new president, effective Jan. 1.
Jackson takes over following the planned retirement of Marc Althen, the Reading, Pennsylvania-based logistics and supply chain provider he said last week.
Brian Hard, the president of Penske Transportation Solutions, praised Jackson for his “leadership background, breadth of customer experience and industry expertise.”
Jackson previously served as SVP of operations for dedicated charter transportation and SVP of Eastern region operations. He also worked with Penske Truck Leasing as vice president of the Northeast region as well as area manager in Tampa and Memphis.
His nearly three decades of industry experience also includes time at Rollins Truck Leasing, where he held several roles before being acquired by Penske. corporate biographical notes.
