Uber Freight has added two transportation veterans to its leadership team, according to a news Last week.
The logistics platform has hired former CH Robinson VP Dan Annunziata in a new role at Uber Freight, head of commercial division, as well as Amazon veteran Hany Elkordy as head of logistics and last mile solutions.
Annunziata will primarily focus on consolidating the commercial, sales and solutions organization to help the company enhance its role in serving shippers.
He started in the position in January and most recently served as CH Robinson Worldwide’s vice president of North American surface transportation for nearly six years, part of 15-plus years with the brokerage giant, according to His LinkedIn.
Elkordy will lead improvements and expansion of the parcel method, working closely with product, business and technology teams, the announcement said.
