After five years as Hub Group’s first HR Director, Michele McDermott is leaving for another chance, according to the company.
McDermott’s last day with the transportation provider is Wednesday.

The changing of the guard also included replacing Hub Group CFO Geoff DeMartino with the company’s former chief accounting officer, Kevin Beth.
The changes in executive leadership come at a time when human resources and financial services departments are incorporating massive changes. The company made a splash with one of the last big M&A deals of 2023, acquiring Forward Air’s last-mile business for $262 million.
